Whilst the KM8 fracking fraternity await the Rt Hon Greg Clark's final approval for Third Energy's frack, it did strike it would be quite amusing if this was turned down, given the lengths Third have gone to to be first.

Fracking - Jurassics

The 'fracking' presentation hosted by SBC on the 21st November open to the public was an invitation not to be missed. Frack Free Scarborough were in good form and expectations of  a pitch by a Cuadrilla,  INEOS or  any T-Rex 'fracking'  team were dashed when, the mysterious 'surprise'  presenter turned out to be the NYMNPA Director of Development, Mark Hill.    

Why Am I here? he asked.

Sabic invests in Shale Gas imports from the USA:

"... The company is one of the world’s largest makers of chemicals, fertilizers and plastics and has operations at Wilton, near Redcar, which include the Olefins cracker.

The cracker, also known as Olefins 6, was built by ICI in 1979, and supplies products used in plastic bottles, CDs and tyres by taking feedstocks and cracking apart components.
