All the local parishes were congratulated on working with the local authorities, during the Summer of 2025, especially the Highways. Whilst some Parishes were cut off by the North Yorks Moors Fire... it was quite plain to see that Woodsmith's played there part in supplying Water, Pond Life.. and announced 'Top Hats' to the many farmers and local authorities that worked together to prevent a rather larger 'Catastrophy' of Monumental proportions.
Anyhoos it seems the Review period is complete and subject to Ventilation & a Public Consultation an exercise is about to take place.

About those Urban Myths?
Ah, So... In the First World War a Tank was lost in in a bog hole up on Howdale Moor. It sank rather rapidly. The difference between heather and peat is a few thousand years, ie they burn the topography, purple heather for gaming purposes. When the leaves or vegetation & heather is left to fall on the ground it creates the peat... usually a couple of feet but can be up to 10 or 20ft deep... when mixed with rainfall creating bogs and sink holes and in the past many horses have been lost on't Moors, ergo not all peat is solid and while it can take a few thousand years to form, you can get it nowadays in brick form to burn.... a bit like coal.

Once Upon a Time a 'Rudda' was a community that lived around Robin Hoods Bay... just recently Red Deer that escaped, can now be found on Ravenscar and living wild on the Moors along with one or two Pumas or Panthers of the large black cat variety that are subject to culling by the local game-keepers to protect livestock and other wildlife such as Trees.
Red Deers are the size of large cows bytheway, as opposed to the Doe varieties.

That's what I like to do... listen to the Urban Myths, try to make sense of them and stick em all in a place like this. Just in case they are forgotten.

"A separate vote by Teck shareholders was held shortly after in Vancouver and the deal also received enough support to go ahead. The proposal is still subject to review under the Investment Canada Act, which can be used to block deals deemed against the national interest."

"MP said that the tunnel had reached 29.859km and that three locations had been identified for offsite drilling. He explained that the planning application would be submitted in a few weeks and added that onsite drilling with the same rig had begun at Woodsmith."
That's the Exciting bit.
""We are delighted to receive regulatory approval from the Government of Canada for our merger of equals with Teck. Today's confirmation by Minister of Industry, the Honourable Mélanie Joly, marks yet another step towards forming a major global critical minerals powerhouse, following the overwhelming endorsement of both our and Teck's shareholders last week. Anglo Teck represents a significant investment in Canada, its people and its natural resources, underpinned by a comprehensive package of commitments designed to drive enduring economic and wider benefits associated with a thriving mining ecosystem in British Columbia, and in Canada as a whole."

"We then cut to a party in a grand house being held by northern industrialists, the Cootes, who have rented the house from Lady Caterham (Helena Bonham Carter) because she has class but no cash and they have cash but no class. You get the idea. If you don’t, there’s a scene where Lady Coote cheats at bridge, so we all know where we stand. But I do have to say this: if you’re going to have posh people snotting all over others, you should make sure they’re not spouting grammatical errors everywhere, unless it’s deliberate and ironically intended."

"It drew attention to the unique role that "intellectuals" play in Western democratic societies. Hayek's definition of intellectuals referred to journalists, publicists, radio commentators, fiction writers, cartoonists, artists and university lecturers, among others. He said intellectuals had to be targeted. He said they were a special class of people because they distilled the ideas of experts for lay audiences and performed a vital "censorship function" as intellectual gatekeepers, while influencing public opinion daily:"
